Although less comfortable than buses, air-conditioned passenger vans are increasing in popularity because they're faster. Vans depart daily and often for Pochutla (transfer point for the Pacific coast fishing village of Puerto Ángel and nearby beaches) and destinations to the northwest in the Mixteca. For the latest schedule and rate information, inquire at the tourist information office or booth or call or visit the van companies' offices.
